Bible Way To Heaven
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know ye have eternal life…”
Can anyone really know for sure that they will go to Heaven?
The Bible says that you can!
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Can anyone really know for sure that they will go to Heaven?
The Bible says that you can!
You must believe the truth of God’s Word that you need to be saved from your sins
Our Sin Seperates Us From God
First, we must realize that God’s Word says that we are sinners and our sin has seperated us from a Holy God.
Isaiah 53:6a : “All we like sheep have gone astray….”
Romans 3:23 : “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:10 : “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one”
Isaiah 59:2 : “But your inquities have seperated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you…”
James 2:10 : “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all“
The Price For Sin Is Death
Second, we must realize that as a sinner you owe a penalty
Romans 6:23a : “For the wages (payment) of sin is death….”
This death is described in the Bible as the second death or the lake of fire – eternal seperation from God
Revelation 20:14-15 : “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire“
Revelation 21:8 : “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death“
Yes, the Bible teaches that there is an eternal lake of fire where religious, as well as ungodly, sinners go who find no way of paying the penalty of their sin. No imperfect sinner can pay his own debt because God demands a perfect sacrifice for sin.
II Peter 3:9 : “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsufferring to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance“
Jesus Alone Can Save You
Thirdly, we must realize that only Jesus can save you, there is nothing we can do without Jesus
Isaiah 64:6a : “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…”
Romans 3:20 : “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight….”
Ephesians 2: 8 – 9 : “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast”
Titus 3:5a : “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…..”
You must believe the truth of God’s Word that God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, is the only way of salvation
Jesus Paid The Price For Our Sin
Fourthly, we must realize that Jesus Christ, God’s perfect sacrifice, has already paid our sin debt
Romans 5:8 : “But God commendeth (proved) His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us“
II Corinthians 5:21 : “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteosness of God in Him”
John 3:16 : “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”
I Peter 3:18a : “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God….”
When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for all our sins and bridged the gap that separated us from God.
You must realize that Jesus Christ was not a sinner and that God took all our sins and placed them on Jesus at the cross. While Jesus was bearing all of our sins in His own body, God punished Him in our place to pay the sin debt that we owe. Jesus became our substitute.
Praise the Lord
Jesus Rose From The Dead
We must believe that after Jesus died, He rose again
John 20:31 : “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name”
Romans 10:9 : “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”
Romans 4:25 : “Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification“
Invite Christ In
We must receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as your personnal Lord and Saviour and what He did for you at Calvary on the cross
John 1:12 : “But as many as receive Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name“
Romans 6:23b : “….but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord“
Romans 10:9 – 10 : “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”
Romans 10:13 : “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”
The word ‘believe’ means to trust – to depend on. To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ means that you accept the following facts:
~ You are a sinner
~ As a sinner you owe a sin debt
~ Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His precious blood to pay the debt you owe
~ He rose the third day, conquering sin, death and hell
To believe means going beyond mere intellectual assent. It means to place your faith totally in Him – plus nothing and minus nothing – forever to save you from hell, forgive you of your sins, and give you the gift of eternal life.
Most importantly, when you completely trust Him to get you to Heaven, it will be forever settled, once and for all.
A Sample Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus,
I now believe You suffered for me and died on the cross, shedding Your blood.
I believe You were buried and rose again to pay my debt for my sins.
Please be merciful to me a sinner, and cleanse me with Your precious blood.
I now place my faith 100% totally in You alone as my Lord and Saviour. Please save me from hell and give me the wonderful gift of eternal life.
Thank You Lord for saving me and making me Your child.
